Uncontrollable Space Debris: Should we worry about that?

Space debris.


When we see the stars in the sky, there is an human mad thing between stars and us. Satelite, telescope and others, which keep moving around earth. But many damaged satelite still moving there. Here is an picture of our earth from space, we see that it's totally covered by satellites.


According to UNOOSA records, there are 8,261 satellites orbiting the Earth as on January 2022, out of which only 4,852 satellites are active (as at the end of December 2021), confirmed by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), who maintains the record of the operational satellite .





Here is some pictures of Space Debris fall in living areas. It is not a very big problem now days but in future it may be become biggest problem for all human on earth and also for our space exploration missions.

If whole area of outer space is covered by satellites or space debris than in future we don't go out to our earth and not able to explore our mysterious cosmos.   

We have some ideas about that problem. Many companies think about that and make some simulation on it. As an example we have an spacial rocket which through big net on debris in space and capture it an through it in our earth atmosphere.

Chandrayaan 3 : one step closer to the Moon.

• On July 14, 2023, Chandrayaan 3 was successfully launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India. • On August 5, 2023, the spacecraft entered lunar orbit; on August 23, 2023, the lander soft-landed on the lunar surface at Singhasan, near the lunar south pole. The lander is carrying the Pragyan rover, which will spend up to 14 days exploring the lunar surface. The Chandrayaan 3 mission is scheduled to last for one year. • The successful launch and landing of Chandrayaan 3 is a significant achievement for India's space program.
