• As we know that our sun provides us light, energy and life. But it's also give us solar flames, which is dengerous for us.
Suns core temprature is 15 million degree Celsius. And it's surface temperature is 6000 degrees Celsius.
• So we made our own sun, which is not perfectly as natural sun but we produce energy by nuclear fusion reactor.
• China's latest milestone in its experimental artificial sun project was achieved on December 30, 2021, when the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) reactor in Hefei, China, sustained plasma at a temperature of 70 million degrees Celsius for 1,056 seconds, or over 17 minutes. This is the longest time that EAST has been able to maintain such a high plasma temperature, and it is a significant step towards the development of practical fusion power plants.
• Fusion is a process that powers stars, including the sun. It occurs when two or more atomic nuclei come close enough together to form a single nucleus, releasing a large amount of energy in the process. Fusion is considered to be a potential source of clean and abundant energy, but it has been difficult to achieve in a controlled way.
• The EAST reactor is a tokamak, which is a type of device that can confine plasma in a doughnut-shaped magnetic field. In the EAST experiment, the plasma was heated to 70 million degrees Celsius by radio waves and then confined by the magnetic field for 1,056 seconds. This is longer than any previous tokamak experiment, and it is a significant step towards the development of practical fusion power plants.
• The next step for the EAST project is to try to achieve fusion ignition, which is when the fusion reaction produces more energy than it takes to heat and confine the plasma. If ignition can be achieved, it would be a major milestone in the development of fusion power.
